Dr Brindan Suresh is a respected healthcare leader with extensive experience in clinical practice, health system transformation and innovation in life sciences. Before joining Ramsay, Brindan was a Partner at McKinsey & Company, where he led over 90 executive-sponsored initiatives across the healthcare and life sciences sectors globally, including groundbreaking work in health systems transformation and advanced analytics.

As a senior leader of McKinsey’s Health Systems and Services practice in Australia and the Asia-Pacific region, Brindan spearheaded innovative strategies for governments, health systems and private providers. His achievements include overseeing design of an integrated care system for 2.3 million Londoners, delivering £300 million in annual productivity improvements, and supporting the development of Australia’s national medical workforce strategy for 70,000 doctors. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Brindan advised health ministries across the Asia-Pacific region on vaccine deployment, public health resilience and operational improvements.

Brindan also co-led McKinsey’s global R&D Functional Excellence Sub-Practice, driving advancements in clinical operations, regulatory affairs and medical strategy through the use of AI and advanced analytics.

Passionate about innovation in health, Brindan has been a regional lead for the McKinsey Health Institute, promoting initiatives in healthy aging, women’s health and mental health equity. He has also led training programs for senior executives, focusing on leadership and organisational transformation.

Brindan began his career in Australia as a medical doctor at New South Wales Health, working in Sydney’s largest teaching hospitals. He holds a Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery, Bachelor of Laws (Hons I) and Bachelor of Arts from the University of Sydney. With his distinctive  blend of clinical expertise and strategic leadership, Brindan is committed to advancing innovation and excellence in healthcare delivery.
